According to former Lakers player Dwight Howard, LeBron has something much bigger in mind—also including his younger son, Bryce James, in the Lakers.
During a recent episode of the “Podcast P with Paul George,” Howard dropped a revelation that could change the course of the Los Angeles franchise.
“The last time I spoke to LeBron James, he told me, ‘Listen, I’m trying to get Bronny and Bryce on the Lakers, and also that Savannah, he’s going to be the owner of the team, so it’s a family affair, the whole James family,'” Howard joked.
LeBron has never hidden his desire to play with Bronny in the NBA, but this new statement suggests that his plan extends even further, including Bryce, who is currently a senior at Sierra Canyon and has committed to the University of Arizona.

Bryce James, considered a three-star prospect, might not make the jump to the NBA as quickly as his brother, which would open up the possibility of him entering the league as an undrafted free agent.

Howard also reflected on his time with the Lakers, fondly recalling his role in the 2020 championship win.
“I really enjoyed my time with the Lakers. Playing with LeBron James is one of my best memories. As for retirement, I want to do it when I decide, not when someone else tells me I should,” he commented.
