Patrick Mahomes’ father couldn’t contain his anger and John Rocker’s provocation ending in an unfortunate situation

Patrick Mahomes not only had one of the worst performances of his career in Super Bowl LIX, but his father also made headlines. And not for a positive reason.
A video has surfaced showing his father and the controversial former MLB player John Rocker engaged in a tense altercation on Bourbon Street. It was unclear what exactly the two former baseball players said to each other, but it didn’t seem like a friendly conversation.

They were separated to prevent a physical altercation

A passerby had to step in between them to keep the situation from escalating into a physical confrontation. Fortunately, it remained a verbal exchange. Although it was an extremely heated argument, the issue didn’t end there, as both later shared it online.
Rocker wrote on X: “This damn loser doesn’t know how to take a damn joke.” “I wish I had knocked him out right there and ruined his stupid weekend even more.”

Patrick Mahomes Sr. responded, saying: “You really haven’t changed at all in the last 25 years. Don’t mention my name, loudmouth.”
To this, Rocker replied: “You wouldn’t have had the guts to say that to my face the other night. Lanky clown.”
Meanwhile, Mahomes Sr. added: “John Rocker is a menace to society.”

Rocker fired back: “F*** PATRICK MAHOMES.”

It was unclear when the video was recorded

It was also uncertain when the video was filmed, whether it took place before or after the Chiefs’ humiliating loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

If the confrontation happened after the game, it’s understandable why Mahomes Sr. might not have been in a good mood. He had just watched his son get dominated for 60 consecutive minutes in a historic defeat.
If the incident occurred before the game, it remains a mystery what could have angered Mahomes’ father. Rocker, on the other hand, is not exactly known for being a friendly person and has a history of making offensive and despicable remarks.
