A new chapter in Pittsburgh: Aaron Rodgers faces the fire
“That guy should just stay in California, chew bark, and whisper to the gods,” Bradshaw quipped, drawing attention for his colorful, albeit biting remarks.
Rodgers, never one to shy away from controversy, offered a measured yet pointed response.
Terry Bradshaw said Aaron Rodgers should:
“Stay in California, chew on bark, and whisper to the gods.”

Aaron Rodgers answers with poise and precision
Speaking with Kyle Brandt during the “Back Together Weekend” event in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, Rodgers addressed Bradshaw’s comments head-on.
“Terry is a legend. An absolute legend. He’s won four Super Bowls. But Terry, like many people, doesn’t know me personally. He has an idea of who I am based on what he’s seen or heard, my documentary, my comments, my retreats, whatever,” Aaron Rodgers said calmly.
Rather than fire back harshly, the 41-year-old quarterback extended something of an olive branch.
“I’d love to meet Terry someday. Maybe we could sit down and talk, clear the air a bit,” he added, hinting that while he’s aware of the criticism, he’s more interested in dialogue than drama.
Aaron Rodgers arrival in Pittsburgh signals a bold new direction for both him and the franchise. It’s a high-stakes move that could either reignite his storied career or add fuel to the skepticism.
But if his thoughtful yet confident response to Bradshaw is any indication, Aaron Rodgers is ready to lead, with both his arm and his words.
