Travis Hunter prefers to stay out of the spotlight when it comes to his younger brother Trayvis, who stole the show with a viral moment during a high-profile preseason recruitment camp.

Travis Hunter stays on the sidelines while his brother shines at an elite camp

With the NFL Draft just over a month away, all eyes are on Travis Hunter, the former two-way star of the Colorado Buffaloes and Heisman Trophy winner.

However, while he prepares for his leap into the professional ranks, his younger brother, Trayvis Hunter, is beginning to carve out his own path in college football.

A new Hunter steals the spotlight

This weekend, the young Hunter stood out at a prestigious recruitment camp, sharing the field with five-star prospects like Ryder Lyons, a top target for Michigan and Ohio State.

Despite being smaller in stature, he displayed exceptional skills, delivering highlight-worthy plays that quickly went viral on social media.

Standing at just 5’7″ and weighing 135 pounds, Trayvis Hunter, a Class of 2027 recruit, has already drawn interest from programs like Tennessee State and Jackson State.

His performance at the OT7 event, particularly in 7-on-7 matchups, showcased his agility and ability to leave defenders scrambling with electrifying moves.

Travis Hunter lets his brother forge his own destiny

Despite the growing buzz around Trayvis, Travis Hunter has chosen to remain on the sidelines of his development. The future NFL star has made it clear that he hasn’t given his younger brother advice, allowing him to navigate his own journey without the weight of his success.

“He still has plenty of time to grow and find his place,” Travis said about Trayvis, who is currently in his junior year of high school.

As the young Hunter continues to gain experience and attract recruiters’ attention, his older brother gives him the space he needs to prove that his talent speaks for itself.
