Sarkisian, who has coached standout players, including top-10 draft picks and Heisman Trophy winners, warned Arch Manning that the path to success would be challenging, yet full of opportunities.
“It’s a challenge, but also an incredible opportunity,” Sarkisian said in a recent interview with Kay Adams on Up and Adams. “I’ve had players drafted in the top 10 and some who’ve won the Heisman. It’s a path they chose, just like I chose to be a coach. We know what it takes, and now we have to embrace it.”

Additionally, Sarkisian highlighted that, as the Longhorns’ quarterback, Arch Manning won’t just have the attention of Austin fans; he’ll also carry the weight of being the face of a university that is always in the spotlight.
“Texas is different. Everything’s bigger here. No one forced us into this situation. We chose this path, so let’s do it right and make the most of the opportunity,” Sarkisian added.
