Steph Curry shines again, but this time the spotlight is on his Golden State Warriors teammate, Pat Spencer.

Curry did not hold back praise after the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, comparing Spencer’s performance to Jarrett Jack, a former Bay Warrior who left his mark between 2012 and 2013.

Steph Curry highlights Pat Spencer’s evolution

Steph Curry noted that Spencer’s ability to handle the ball and run the offense recalls Jack’s best moments with the Warriors.

“It was great,” Curry said. “He reminds me of Jarrett Jack back in the day. A guy who just ran the ball, and I was gone for long stretches, on purpose. With full confidence that he could initiate the offense.”

This season, Pat Spencer has solidified his value on the team. During Curry temporary absence due to injuries, Spencer has averaged 15.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 5.4 assists over his last five games.

Against the Timberwolves, he posted 12 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Proving he can take on key offensive responsibilities for the Warriors.

Steph Curry admiration fuels Spencer

Steph Curry continued to highlight Spencer performance after Thursday’s practice. “It’s incredible to watch him. We’ve seen him during summers, in workouts, when he’s been on the court for short periods. He has a presence that lets you know he understands the game,” Curry said.

The star guard added that Spencer plays with “120% confidence” every time he steps on the court and that his ability to quickly adapt to the team’s needs is crucial for the Warriors success.

The combination of Curry experience and Spencer’s versatility could prove decisive in upcoming games.

Steph Curry, who returned against Minnesota after a quadriceps contusion and muscle strain. Scored 39 points, five rebounds, and five assists, reaffirming his role as the team’s undisputed leader.

With averages of 28.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game, Curry aims to guide the Warriors to victory against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday. While Pat Spencer continues proving that his game can make a difference in every matchup.
