In another display of his talent, LeBron James led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 110-102 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, scoring 40 points. This performance once again placed him at the center of NBA history, making him the only player to record multiple 40-point games at 40 years old or older.
His first historic game came in a 120-112 victory against the Golden State Warriors, where he scored 42 points, leading the Lakers past a rival like Stephen Curry.
Despite the years and the expectations regarding his future, LeBron James continues to prove that time has no power over his game. After another standout victory, he shared his thoughts on what keeps him going, defying the passage of time and maintaining his top-level performance.

LeBron James true source of motivation is his son Bronny

The NBA’s all-time leading scorer revealed that his main drive to continue in the league is none other than his son, Bronny James. In a candid interview, LeBron explained that the opportunity to be a role model for his son and teach him the ways of professionalism is what motivates him every day.

“Why do I keep playing? It’s the love for the game, and now I have the chance to show my son how to be a professional in this league. Being with him every day is a real pleasure,” James expressed to Dan Woike of the LA Times.
Though aware that his time in the NBA is nearing its end, LeBron made it clear that he still has much to offer, both to the game and to his teammates and the league in general.

“I still love this game, and I have a lot to give, both to my teammates and to this league while I’m here,” he added firmly. “Time is running out, but as long as I can keep going, I’ll dedicate myself to giving my best on every game.”
