The 2025-26 NBA regular season will start in two months. However, players like Luka Doncic are already heating up at EuroBasket, which tips off in a few days. Before the season, many players and analysts discuss the NBA’s top talents. That’s why Bogdan Bogdanovic shared his thoughts on Doncic’s skills.

Admiration and respect for Doncic

According to The Sports Rush, the Serbian guard spoke with Eurohoops this week. In the interview, he described the toughest challenges of the tournament, where Doncic’s and Giannis’s names stood out.

“He can kill anyone in this tournament. He can go for 50, 60, I don’t know. That’s what makes him special,” Bogdanovic said about Doncic. The Slovenian once scored 47 points against France in 2022, the second-highest mark in EuroBasket history.

As for Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Milwaukee Bucks star will do everything possible to lead Greece to glory. For Bogdanovic, Giannis, like Doncic, is an extremely tough opponent.

“I feel like when you play against him, his athleticism… you just can’t make mistakes because he punishes everything,” Bogdanovic explained. “His defensive ability too—it’s not easy to go around him. There are no easy shots with him,” the Serbian added.

Recently, Doncic injured his knee in an exhibition game, suffering a bruise. He has now fully recovered and is ready to continue doing what he loves: playing basketball. He spent the summer working on his physical preparation, and experts expect an excellent performance in the 2025-26 NBA season.
