Novak Djokovic once again captured the world’s attention, not with his racket, but with a moment full of romance and culture alongside his wife Jelena in Athens.

During a Christmas event at the exclusive 91 Athens Riviera club, Djokovic joined Greek singer Konstantinos Argiros in an energetic hasaposerviko dance, showing a side rarely seen of the 24-time Grand Slam champion.

The dance video, quickly going viral, left his fans intrigued about his new life outside of Serbia.

Novak Djokovic and his new life in Greece

Djokovic public appearance in Athens comes after his controversial move from Serbia with his family, including Jelena and their children, Stefan and Tara.

The Serbian’s relocation was warmly received by Athenians, who cheered his name during the Hellenic Championship, where Djokovic claimed victory over Italian Lorenzo Musetti.

Sources indicate that Novak Djokovic is in the process of applying for a Greek Golden Visa. Which would grant him citizenship in exchange for investments in the country.

This move fuels speculation that he plans to settle long-term in Greece, prioritizing his family’s education and well-being.

Culture, family, and new projects for Novak Djokovic

In recent statements, Novak Djokovic explained his attraction to Greece. “There are many historical, religious, cultural, and social ties between Greece and Serbia. Also, the climate, the food, and the lifestyle. I feel that Greeks and Serbs are like brothers.”

His children have already enrolled at St. Lawrence College, a British school with tennis facilities. And Djokovic plans to open his own academy in the area.

The move has also been linked to political tensions in Serbia. Where Djokovic publicly supported student protests against President Aleksandar Vučić and his Serbian Progressive Party.

This gesture drew criticism from local media, reinforcing his decision to prioritize his family’s safety and stability.

With this relocation, Novak Djokovic is not only redefining his personal life but also hinting at a new professional and cultural chapter in Greece.
