Cristiano Ronaldo: A performance that reinforces his legacy
Cristiano Ronaldo extended the team’s lead with a penalty in the 65th minute, after Angelo Gabriel opened the scoring and before Joao Félix sealed the victory in the 86th.
Despite Ahmed Abdu Jaber’s consolation goal for Neom, the win reaffirmed the Knights of Najd’s winning streak and Cristiano Ronaldo influence on the pitch.
With 953 goals in his professional career, Ronaldo is approaching the historic 1,000-goal mark, solidifying his status as one of football’s all-time top scorers.

He currently shares the second position in the Saudi Professional League scoring chart with Joshua King, while Joao Félix leads with 10 goals.
Cristiano Ronaldo continues to demonstrate that, even at 40 years old, he can change the course of a match and keep his team at the top of the table.
Cristiano Ronaldo challenge in the Saudi Professional League
Despite his scoring effectiveness in Saudi Arabia, Cristiano Ronaldo recently admitted that scoring goals in LaLiga was easier than in the Saudi Professional League.
In an interview with Piers Morgan, shared via Fabrizio Romano on X, the Portuguese star explained that the competitive level of the SPL surpasses that of Spain’s top division, a recognition that highlights the difficulty of his new environment.
“For me, it’s easier to score goals in Spain, in LaLiga, than to score in Saudi Arabia.”
Since joining Al-Nassr in January 2023, Cristiano Ronaldo has played 116 matches, scoring 103 goals and providing 21 assists.
Although he has only won the Arab Club Champions Cup, a trophy not officially recognized by FIFA, his influence on the team and leadership abilities keep him firmly in the spotlight.
