During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show, Mayweather was asked about the possibility of fighting Jake Paul. Without hesitation, the former boxer delivered a sharp two-word response: “Too easy.”
With his trademark confidence, the ex-champ elaborated on why his legacy remains untouchable: “When you watch free boxing, you can get hundreds of millions of views. But when you watch Floyd Mayweather, you have to pay. I made history in pay-per-view numbers.”
While Jake Paul continues searching for high-profile opponents after his failed attempt to secure a fight with Canelo Álvarez, it seems clear that Floyd Mayweather doesn’t see him as a worthy challenge.
