Chris Eubank Jr. stunned everyone by smashing an egg on Conor Benn face during a press conference in Manchester. The now-viral footage reveals Eddie Hearn immediate reaction after the shocking incident.
What started as a heated verbal exchange between the two fighters quickly spiraled into chaos when Eubank Jr. decided to escalate things, triggering a full-blown scuffle on stage.

An egg, a slap, and the firestorm ignited by Chris Eubank Jr.

The viral clip captures the exact moment Chris Eubank Jr. smashes the egg onto Benn, setting off a wave of shoving and shouting on stage.
Amid the commotion, Hearn reaction didn’t go unnoticed. The Matchroom Boxing promoter pushed Ben Shalom, Eubank Jr. representative, while security scrambled to regain control.
Interestingly, the footage suggests that Shalom was unaware of Hearn’s actions in the chaos, fueling further speculation about what truly unfolded behind the scenes.

Hearn fuels the controversy: “Anything goes now”

Following the explosive scene, Hearn responded with a cryptic two-word remark when asked about the incident: “Anything goes.”
Speaking to Sky Sports, the British promoter expressed his shock at the situation. “He stepped on stage with an egg. I thought it was glass from the way it shattered. We don’t know what happened, but all I’ll say is, there’s no turning back now. If you see Nigel Benn in the next 10 minutes, be careful.”
Hearn also hinted that Chris Eubank Jr. actions were not impulsive but carefully calculated. “Everything with Eubank is premeditated. He sat there at night and planned this. Some might find it funny, but imagine if this happened in any other face-off—the police would already be involved.”
With the fight set for thursday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, tensions are at an all-time high. What started with words has escalated to a level where, as Hearn says, “anything goes.”
