Whether inside or outside the ring, anything involving Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor goes viral on social media. Now, the buzz is growing with 50 Cent’s sharp criticism of both fighters. The punches are flying, and the web is lighting up with reactions to these heavyweights.

50 Cent has launched a scathing attack on Floyd Mayweather. This comes after one of Mayweather’s opponents, Conor McGregor, made a somewhat controversial announcement about his political future in his home country of Ireland.

50 Cent vs Floyd Mayweather

This isn’t a fight card for an actual boxing match. However, 50 Cent doesn’t miss the chance to throw jabs at Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor. For context, McGregor recently announced his candidacy for the presidency of Ireland.

The news caused a stir among his fans. In fact, 50 Cent supposedly was one of the first to react, but not in a positive way. The rapper questioned Mayweather’s intelligence and mocked his actions.

On Instagram, 50 Cent supposedly wrote, “Look what happens when you can read, champ. Shit just matters.” The candidacy announcement came after the UFC champion’s visit to the White House, where he met with President Trump for St. Patrick’s Day.

A controversial candidacy

Although Conor McGregor seems to have a solid intention, 50 Cent isn’t convinced. The Irishman aims to make some changes in his country’s politics and preserve “Irishness.” For this, he was also reprimanded by the current president of Ireland, Micheál Martin.

Additionally, 50 took the opportunity to mock Mayweather in the political context as well. This time, it was about Mayweather’s support for Donald Trump. During an appearance on Fox Business’ “Making Money with Charles Payne,” Mayweather expressed his admiration for the former president.

“When we had Trump before, we didn’t appreciate him. But I think Trump is a great president. One of the… in fact, he’s the best president. For me, he’s the best president we’ve ever had,” Mayweather said, sparking controversy and a reaction from 50 Cent.

Once again on Instagram, 50 Cent didn’t miss the chance to criticize Mayweather. “You know how it is when you’re in school, and a kid eats crayons. You see what happens when they grow up. It’s spelled ‘BEST PRESIDENT, champ!’ Hahaha,” the rapper responded.
