Five-time All-Pro Tyreek Hill directly responded to NFL reporter Omar Kelly following comments about his future.

With just four words, “Omar, you know nothing,” Hill made it clear he won’t let speculation define his narrative.

The knee injury he suffered in Week 4 against the Jets, which tore multiple ligaments. Ended his 2025 season but not his voice in discussions about his career and legacy in Miami.

Hill began his NFL career with the Chiefs before being traded to the Dolphins in 2022, signing a four-year. $120 million contract extension.

In just four seasons with Miami, Tyreek Hill has accumulated 4,733 yards and 27 touchdowns, including two playoff appearances.

His impact on the team has been significant, and although this season he recorded 265 yards and one touchdown in just four games. His influence goes beyond the stats.

The possibility of retirement and Hill future

On the podcast The Set, Hill discussed how his injury and the physical and mental toll of the game have led him to consider his future.

“I feel like that decision is entirely based on how I feel and my current mental state. Right now, I’m happy with my kids and with the career I’ve had,” he explained.

Hill acknowledged that professional football demands extreme physical and mental commitment, and any decision about retirement will be carefully considered.

Tyreek Hill has also faced moments of uncertainty in Miami. After last season, he expressed frustration with the team’s results and considered leaving the franchise, though he ultimately returned.

This year, pressure surrounding Mike McDaniel’s job security and the departure of general manager Chris Grier adds further uncertainty to the team environment.
