The image, showing Connor as a child alongside the woman his brother Patrick called “mormor” (grandmother in Scandinavian), was accompanied by heartfelt words:
“I’ve been thinking about what to say, and I can’t. It’s impossible to put into words how much you meant to our entire family. I refuse to say goodbye, so until we meet again ❤️❤️❤️🕊️🕊️ 🕊️.”

A relationship built on court and everyday life
Clark and McCaffery have been together for two years, having first met in Iowa while both were part of basketball teams.
Their relationship has been defined by constant mutual support. Clark attends Butler games, where McCaffery serves as an assistant coach. He was previously affiliated with the Indiana Pacers during Clark rookie season with the Fever.
This professional and personal connection has strengthened a bond that fans admire both on and off the court.
Clark and the battle against injuries
This season has not been easy for Caitlin Clark. After two hamstring injuries and two consecutive groin problems, her return remains uncertain.
Although her status was recently updated to “day-to-day,” fans continue to speculate about when she might return to the court.
With a five-day break following the game against the Connecticut Sun, some experts, including Ryan Ruocco of ESPN, predict a possible comeback next week.
Meanwhile, the Fever face challenges in the WNBA, holding an 18-16 record, sitting in seventh place, and having lost four of their last five games.
