During the NBA offseason, Luka Doncic has used his time to train and transform his body. As a result, he plans to show up as a new version of himself when he reports to the Los Angeles Lakers’ training camp at the end of 2025.
The Lakers’ star has overcome several physical injuries, mainly because he didn’t always stay in peak condition. In fact, many believe the Dallas Mavericks traded him for that exact reason.

According to a report from Lakersnation, Luka Doncic increased the intensity of his training right after the Lakers lost in the first round of the playoffs. He now trains twice a day, and his efforts have clearly paid off. He looks to be in the best shape of his career, which makes him a serious threat to his NBA rivals.

Doncic shows all-around commitment

In an interview with Andrew Heffernan and Ebenezer Samuel of Men’s Health, Doncic said:
“If I stop now, it was all for nothing… Obviously, being the best I can be, taking care of myself… This year, with my team, I think we made a big step. But this is just the beginning, you know. I need to keep going. I can’t stop.”

His words highlight his strong commitment to achieving better performance next season. For the Lakers, his dedication offers both relief and motivation, as one of their main stars is getting ready to shine like never before.

But Luka Doncic hasn’t stopped at improving himself physically. He has also taken the initiative to help the team improve. According to recent NBA reports, the 26-year-old now plays a key role as a recruiter for the franchise. Rumors suggest that he played a major part in bringing Deandre Ayton and Marcus Smart to the team during free agency.
