Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter, and David Ortiz will cover the 2025 MLB All-Star Game at Truist Park in Atlanta. But before the game, the trio had fun testing their cooking skills, joined by host Kevin Burkhardt.
Ahead of Tuesday’s game, they visited a local Papa John’s pizzeria, where the former New York Yankees star pulled off a surprising stunt. He filmed himself tossing a pizza like a pro and shared the video on his official Instagram account.
According to Sportskeeda, the clip shows A-Rod spinning a pizza dough in the air, successfully completing the challenge and impressing everyone around him and his fans. The caption read: “Nothing is impossible 🍕 @mlbonfox.”
The three former players have regularly covered major MLB events for Fox Sports. Before becoming analysts, Ortiz played for the Boston Red Sox, while Rodríguez and Jeter were Yankees teammates and rivals on the field.

Alex Rodríguez and Marc Lore have officially acquired the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx. The former Yankees legend is now focused on transforming the franchise with one goal: take the team to the NBA championship.
During the 2025 NBA Summer League, Rodríguez and Lore appeared on ESPN’s “The Hoop Collective” podcast in Las Vegas, where A-Rod revealed that their inspiration comes from the OKC Thunder.
“We want to be very, very disciplined and patient, but with a sense of urgency,” Rodríguez said. “We paid the second-highest luxury tax last year, and we’ll be in the tax again this year. Three years ago, we faced Oklahoma City in a play-in game. Shai and those guys were still young, and we beat them at home. It was a great game.”
He added: “If Sam Presti had decided to tear it down or change direction, they wouldn’t be world champions today. Then, as they got closer, they added Caruso and a few others. Boom. We see them as a great model to follow. It’s worth being patient.”
