The injury situation for the Lakers’ players seems never-ending. Now, the team has two new injured players who will miss the game against the Milwaukee Bucks. The match will take place on Thursday night and will be L.A.’s sixth game in a week.

Unfortunately, the NBA franchise has decided to bench two of its stars to ensure they fully recover from their injuries. In addition, two other key players are uncertain about attending the game against the Bucks.

The Lakers’ coach has decided to rest Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, along with LeBron James and Rui Hachimura. All of them have different injuries that require some recovery time.

As if that weren’t enough, there is also uncertainty regarding the participation of two key rotation players against Milwaukee: Dorian Finney-Smith and Jarred Vanderbilt. The former is recovering from an ankle sprain, while the latter suffered a groin strain.

This represents a crucial turning point for the Los Angeles Lakers, who are at a critical juncture in their 20-game schedule over five weeks. Over the past four days, they have had a winning streak, securing consecutive victories.

For the NBA franchise, it is essential to have all their stars back on the court as soon as possible. After the game against the Bucks, they will have to play six more games in the final days of March.

The commitment of the Lakers players is immense

The injured Lakers players have shown great commitment to their team. Doncic has remained active intermittently, despite his persistent ankle injury. Meanwhile, Reaves has not missed a game since March 4.

As for LeBron James, he has already missed six consecutive games due to his groin injury. Similarly, Hachimura’s knee injury has kept him out of action since February 27.
