Jason Kelce found himself at a crossroads, having to choose between his former team and his brother Travis Kelce’s team when the Philadelphia Eagles faced the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX this Sunday.
>The relationship between the Kelce brothers has been a focal point in the NFL in recent years, especially after they faced off in Super Bowl LVII, where Travis’ Chiefs took the victory.

Family bonds always come first

Despite the intense rivalry on the field, both have made it clear on multiple occasions that family bonds always come first. This time, however, the situation was a bit different for Jason, who retired at the end of the season and watched the game from the stands instead of being on the battlefield.
>”Even though I’m dressed in Eagles gear, I will always support Travis,” Jason said on the brothers’ podcast, New Heights, before the big game. “But there are many people in the Philadelphia organization—whether players, coaches, or staff—who feel like extended family to me, especially my former offensive line teammates.”

Celebration in Philadelphia

Social media users heavily criticized Kelce’s continued connection with his former NFL team on Sunday night.. After the Eagles dominated the Chiefs 40-22 to secure the franchise’s second Lombardi Trophy, massive celebrations erupted in Philadelphia. The city’s streets filled with euphoric fans chanting their team’s name and lighting fireworks in honor of the victory.
Kelce, who played all 13 seasons of his NFL career in Philadelphia, faced questions about the fans’ behavior, particularly after a video showed a group of supporters making an embarrassing gesture toward Travis’ partner, Taylor Swift.
Unfortunately, fans targeted Swift multiple times during the Super Bowl, simply for supporting her partner. The crowd inside the Superdome loudly booed her when she appeared on the big screen during the game.
>This incident sparked a debate on social media about the role of celebrities at sporting events and the public’s reaction toward them.
