He even revealed a recent conversation with Garrett, in which he urged him to break the sacks record — a gesture showing that, beyond his fierce on-field demeanor, he deeply respects the individual greatness of fellow defenders.
Chicago’s concern: containing Parsons
On the other side, Chicago’s offense has openly acknowledged the threat posed by Micah Parsons. In his second year, Caleb Williams has shown mobility and the ability to extend plays, but he now faces an elite defender who blends explosiveness, awareness and aggression.
Both offensive coordinator Declan Doyle and offensive line coach Dan Roushar agreed that Parsons demands constant attention, even comparing him to Maxx Crosby, another disruptor capable of changing a game on his own.
Rookie tackle Ozzy Trapilo added that Micah Parsons versatility — being able to win inside, outside and still maintain control against the run — is what makes him a unique player.
