During the WNBA game between the Dallas Wings and Indiana Fever, Paige Bueckers delivered an outstanding performance. Because of this, Caitlin Clark spoke openly about what she thinks of the Wings rookie.

Unfortunately, Clark couldn’t play in the game due to a groin injury. However, her team secured a victory with a score of 88-78, marking their fourth consecutive win.

According to AthlonSports, Paige Bueckers scored 22 points for the Wings—7 from the field and 8 free throws from 8 attempts. She also recorded four assists, four rebounds, and two steals at the American Airlines Center. Even before that, Caitlin Clark had already shared her thoughts on the Dallas star.

Two big stars have been facing off since their teenage years

Before Ion’s broadcast of the game, both WNBA players spoke about each other. They’ve had a strong rivalry since high school, one that has only intensified since joining the professional league.

So, what does Clark think of Bueckers? The Indiana player only had praise for her rival:
“To me, you love going up against great competitors… I’ve always been a fan of her and her game and the way she carries herself.”

Clark added: “I think she’s smooth in everything she does. She’s efficient. She can shoot, she can hit the midrange, she can get to the rim. She’s a three-level scorer. What makes her tough to guard is that she has so many tools.”

One of Clark’s most notable remarks was: “At the end of the day, she’s a winner—and that’s the kind of person you want on your team.” Clearly, Clark holds Bueckers in high regard and doesn’t hesitate to express her admiration for her talent and performance in the WNBA.
