According to a report from Athlonsports, Fever reporter Scott Agness shared White’s comments on his official X account. “I think she’s progressing. I think we’re continuing to address everything we need to address. She’s going to see some doctors and undergo more testing early this week,” said White.
In addition, the Fever coach acknowledged that this is not a minor injury and that it requires time to heal. She stated: “I don’t expect her to be available on Tuesday, so we’re going to continue taking it one day at a time and let her go through her evaluations early this week. Once we’ve done that, we hope to have a clearer picture of what things look like.”
All signs point to Clark missing Tuesday night’s game against the New York Liberty. This forces the team to adjust its game strategy to replace one of its top scorers.
Despite the setbacks, Indiana Fever holds a 12-11 record, placing them sixth in the standings at midseason.
