According to a report by the New York Post, before sharing the post, Clark scored 14 points in Monday night’s game against Dallas. She also recorded 13 assists and five steals, helping her team secure a 102-83 win over the Wings. Despite dealing with a groin injury, she keeps giving everything for her WNBA team.
A relationship born in the world of basketball
Caitlin Clark and McCaffery started dating over two years ago, when she was finishing her time at the University of Iowa. Both have played basketball at a professional level. While she starred for the Hawkeyes, he played in over 80 games as a starter during a six-year stretch. He averaged 4.5 points per game and played a total of 166 games for Iowa.
Today, McCaffery works as an assistant coach for Butler’s men’s basketball team, which has him based in Indianapolis alongside Clark. They’ve supported each other throughout their careers. In fact, Clark recently gifted Butler’s players the latest edition of the Nike Kobe 5 sneakers.
