Aliyah Boston just received an important message from the Indiana Fever. Her performance during the WNBA regular season and throughout the playoffs didn’t go unnoticed. Against all odds, she helped the franchise defeat the Atlanta Dream in the first round and even pushed the Las Vegas Aces to overtime in Game 5 of the semifinals.
At the start of the WNBA season, five Fever stars went down with injuries. That’s when Boston stepped up as a key leader, recording impressive stats: 15 points and 3.7 assists per game, along with 1.2 steals and 0.9 blocks, both team highs. Her outstanding defensive play has now earned her a well-deserved reward.

Joining her on the Second Team are Rhyne Howard (Atlanta Dream), Veronica Burton (Golden State Valkyries), Breanna Stewart (New York Liberty), and Ezi Magbegor (Seattle Storm).
