Aerial Powers is navigating a significant transition. The Indiana Fever guard was key in a successful campaign. The team finished sixth at 24-20, reached the postseason and advanced to the semifinals. They also won the Commissioner’s Cup, elevating expectations.
Powers originally joined through a hardship contract. Her performance convinced the organization, earning her a full-season deal. In eight games, she averaged 9.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists. Her presence mattered during stretches requiring control, aggression and tactical reading. Now, as she enters free agency, she is analyzing a scenario that extends beyond basketball.
During the offseason she traveled to Turkey. She is currently playing for Çanakkale Belediyespor in the Turkish League, and remains active competitively, yet also moves toward parallel projects.
Between competition and new platforms
According to Athlonsports, Powers launched her podcast Aerial View. The show, under Players TV, targets modern discussions on basketball and professional life. On Friday, she hinted at returning to streaming. “I think it’s time to start streaming again,” she posted with an image of Apex Legends on her screen.

Her gaming account has not posted content since 2024. That absence contrasts with her current plan. Powers seems to miss real-time digital engagement. Expanding that channel could strengthen her brand presence.
Her personal agenda remains packed. She competes overseas while assessing her role in the WNBA. Free agency may open multiple doors. Indiana needs roster depth to sustain its competitive rise. Powers could stay within that blueprint or explore alternative routes.
Her diversification reflects ambition. On-court performance merges with digital identity, marking a multi-layered stage in her career.
