After new criticism emerged against Jake Paul, the boxer issued a strong threat to his haters on social media. Facing a current legal dispute, Paul wants to defend the legitimacy of his fights, but he seems determined to go further.

Questioning the legality of a boxer’s fights is nothing new, but Paul appears increasingly frustrated. Since he cannot attack his legal accusers, he now targets those who spread negative opinions.

A message that crossed Paul’s red line

According to Mundo Deportivo, British journalist Piers Morgan sparked the fire. Known for his controversial remarks, this time he called Jake Paul’s fights “boring and fake” and implied they weren’t legitimate. Paul reacted immediately.

On Instagram Stories, the YouTuber issued a threatening message:
“If anyone says my fights are fixed, they will get sued… And secondly, you’re a jealous peasant who can’t believe how good I am at this sport, and you should go to church to fix your insecurities.”

This outburst shows the fighter’s frustration after years of hearing accusations about the illegality of his bouts.

In the same post, Paul also used a religious tone:
“I pray for you because I have much love for humanity, and that includes people who are against me; I genuinely pray for you and want the world to be a better place.”

This reveals a contradiction between toughness and kindness—the latter being something the influencer has rarely shown, which makes it hard to believe for many who know him. Clearly, his goal is to protect his image and the lucrative business he built around boxing.

In response, Piers Morgan clarified his stance on X:
“What I meant is that his fights have been predominantly against older opponents past their prime, which can be lucrative for both sides and entertaining, but they don’t show how he compares with currently ranked boxers.”

According to the journalist, he never suggested anything illegal. However, Paul took offense and struck back forcefully. It is obvious he will use every legal resource to shield his boxing reputation.
