Red Bull’s focus is changing. Verstappen is the team’s sole standout in F1, and that hasn’t yielded the best results. While he has won multiple world championships since 2021, relying on a single star isn’t sustainable. Moreover, Verstappen seems to have lost his unwavering trust in the team’s setup, which could make a Mercedes offer more appealing—and Red Bull should respect that decision.

Since 2019, Verstappen has been the undisputed leader at Red Bull. The team has concentrated all its resources and efforts on him, which has negatively affected other drivers like Alex Albon, Pierre Gasly, and Sergio Pérez, who were discarded for underperformance.
