Adán Manzano, a Telemundo presenter, shocked his family and followers with his sudden passing in New Orleans. He was in the city covering the Super Bowl for the network and Tico Sports.

On February 5, Telemundo Kansas City confirmed the death of the 27-year-old through a statement in which the network expressed its sorrow over the incident. Additionally, they stated that they are cooperating with authorities investigating the case.

“Adán was an exceptional professional and a rising star whose dedication and talent reflected excellence in his work. We will deeply miss Adán, his passion for sports, and the contributions he made to the local community,” the statement read.

Manzano graduated from Kansas State University and began working with the Chiefs Television team as a reporter during the last NFL season. This year, he was covering the Super Bowl for the third consecutive season, thanks to the success of the Chiefs, who will play in the NFL final this Sunday.

After the reporter and presenter’s death was announced, various media outlets sent messages of condolences. The Kansas Association of Broadcasters, Sporting Kansas City from MLS, and the mayor of Kansas City, Quinton Lucas, also expressed their sympathies.

Lucas wrote on his social media: “Adán was very young and full of energy, and he truly covered almost every community event. It is very sad to see this news. My deepest condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.”
