Travis Kelce is already planning his NFL retirement. It’s no secret that the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end considered stepping away after the 2024 season. So, within a year, he might make it official—but what will he do next? He may want to take on a lighter sport.

At 35 years old, the Chiefs’ quarterback tested his skills at the golf courses of Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina, alongside his friend and teammate Patrick Mahomes.

Photos of Kelce and Mahomes hanging out surfaced on X. Interestingly, Kelce playfully flashed his backside at people passing by. He bent over and looked back over his shoulder just as the cameras captured the moment.

Kelce dressed well for the occasion. He wore shorts, a white polo, black-and-white shoes, and a hat to shield his face from the sun.

This was the first time Travis and Patrick were seen together in public since their tough Super Bowl loss. It seems both genuinely enjoy golf as a hobby. In fact, they’ve been photographed golfing in 2023 and 2024. Kelce even participated in the 2024 American Century Championship.

It wouldn’t be surprising if golf becomes part of his retirement plan. However, that’s just speculation based on his passion for the sport. We’ll see within a year how things unfold for Kelce.

Fans’ reactions

Kelce’s golf course antics sparked plenty of reactions from fans on X. Some of the most notable comments included: “I must say, he’s got a great tight end.” “Free booty shot!”

Kelce has won over many fans who hope to keep seeing him around even after he officially retires from the NFL.
