The Dallas Cowboys are making every effort to sign one of the top wide receivers in NFL free agency. Their goal is to pair him with CeeDee Lamb once he fully recovers from his injury.

The target is one of the most valuable former Super Bowl players, who is now a free agent after failing to reach a deal with his team. Now, Dallas wants to seize the opportunity to add him to the roster and strengthen the franchise ahead of the 2025 NFL season.

A key piece for the Cowboys

According to ESPN, Los Angeles Rams star Cooper Kupp is on the Cowboys’ radar. If he joins the team, he and CeeDee Lamb could form a dynamic receiving duo capable of leading the franchise to the next Super Bowl.

Kupp has struggled with injuries in recent years, which led the Rams to release him into free agency. Since 2021, injuries have limited him to no more than 12 games per season, making him less effective for the Rams. Hopefully, he can recover, especially if he decides to sign with Dallas.

Last year, he played in only 12 games, recording six touchdowns and 67 receptions for 710 yards. He spent eight seasons with the Rams after being drafted in the third round in 2015.

Kupp Reflects on His Time with the Rams

Kupp shared his thoughts on his departure: “Eight years of incredible memories… We often talked about the Rams’ return to Los Angeles and how we would build something special here. At first, there was frustration over gaining the city’s acceptance. But we knew that, at the end of the day, it was all about creating moments—shared experiences that parents and their children would talk about and remember forever.”

“That’s what makes the end of these eight years so tough. It’s the end of something we loved building together. Thank you for these shared moments. Thank you, LA, for welcoming my family with open arms and allowing us to grow here,” the star receiver wrote on X.

More Offensive Changes for the Cowboys

Beyond their interest in Cooper Kupp, the Cowboys are also revamping their offense. They have signed former Panthers running back Miles Sanders and ex-Broncos running back Javonte Williams.
