Shedeur Sanders surprised all his fans when they discovered him at work. While the Cleveland Browns are still deciding on their starting quarterback for the summer, he took the initiative to work in a regular place, where NFL fans quickly spotted him.
According to The Sun, last week—before reporting to NFL training camp—Sanders was seen serving customers at a Kentucky Fried Chicken drive-thru. The 2025 fifth-round pick was in Cleveland when a fan saw him in action. The quarterback, along with his brothers, Deion Sanders Jr. and Shilo Sanders, had to give away 250 free KFC meals in their respective cities as fast as possible.
His father, Coach Prime, announced this initiative on social media. The goal? To give back to their communities. That’s why people saw Shedeur Sanders wearing a KFC cap, the fast food chain’s uniform shirt, and a headset. Videos of him went viral on X, Instagram, and other platforms.

Deion Sanders hasn’t announced which son won the challenge, but it looks like Shedeur may have taken the crown. In fact, on one X account, a video of the Colorado Buffaloes product handing out fried chicken reached over 450,000 views.
Some followers left supportive comments for the 23-year-old. “This is wild [crying emoji],” “Okay, respect to Shedeur,” “Shedeur made me cry,” were just a few of the responses on X.
During the offseason, Shedeur Sanders will compete with Dillon Gabriel for the Browns’ quarterback role, facing off against veterans Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett for the spot.
