The Cleveland Browns already made a decision about the future of quarterback Shedeur Sanders. The young player believes he did everything necessary to remain with the team. He knows he has what it takes to lead the Browns far in the upcoming NFL season.
According to reports by Mike Garafolo and Mary Kay Cabot, the deadline to finalize the Browns’ roster is Tuesday. Fans and NFL followers hope the rookie stays with the team.
A deserved spot
According to Bolavip, Shedeur Sanders gave his thoughts on whether he deserves to stay with the Browns for the 2025 season:
“Obviously. I think overall, as a player, I feel like I worked hard. I feel like everything I do, I try to do it the best I can, and that’s all I can ask for.”

“…So, I feel like everyone thinks they should be on the team. If you ask anyone on the roster, do they feel like they belong? They belong in their own eyes. So I feel like I do, but I’m my own player. Of course, I hold myself in high regard. But it’s not my decision,” said the son of head coach Deion Sanders.
Joe Flacco remains the starting quarterback, according to the Browns’ front office. That leaves questions about the roles of Sanders, Kenny Pickett, and Dillon Gabriel.
Browns GM Andrew Berry intends to keep all four quarterbacks on the roster, which means Shedeur Sanders will continue with the team. The player believes training camp was crucial for his NFL career.
“I think overall it was great. Every day is a new day. You learn different things daily, and you definitely take life lessons from every situation. So, I leave training camp happy I had the opportunity,” Sanders said.
