Shedeur Sanders ranks second in the 2025 NFL Draft, but his future remains uncertain. Many analysts believe the former University of Colorado quarterback has been the target of a negative campaign that could impact his draft position.

However, his outstanding statistics and performance last year prove that he is an excellent option for any NFL franchise. Over the past two seasons, he recorded more than 900 passes with the Colorado Buffaloes and could rescue a team he never expected to join.

Where could Shedeur Sanders play?

Nothing is set in stone regarding where the top NCAA stars will land in the draft. However, various experts predict that Shedeur Sanders could end up with the Miami Dolphins.

This scenario is possible due to Sanders’ current draft position. If he falls to the middle of the first round, the Dolphins might consider selecting him, especially if he remains available at pick No. 13 overall. According to NFL insider Joe Schad from Miami, this move makes sense for the team.

“Drafting Sanders at No. 13 would put more pressure on Tagovailoa, but so what? Tagovailoa is entering his sixth season in Miami, and the weight of zero playoff wins in his career is already a significant burden,” Schad wrote. He referenced quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who has struggled with concussions since last season.

Tagovailoa’s health issues greatly impacted Miami’s performance in 2024. Despite entering the season with high expectations, his inconsistency left star receiver Tyreek Hill struggling.

Still, there is hope for a turnaround for the Miami Dolphins in 2025. Adding Shedeur Sanders could significantly strengthen the team, considering their current quarterback’s vulnerability. With the Dolphins, Sanders would have the perfect opportunity to showcase his talents and become an NFL star.
