The drama between Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys finally ended. His agent failed to reach an agreement with Jerry Jones, and the Cowboys traded him to the Green Bay Packers. As expected, linebacker Ally reacted immediately.
For months, they debated whether to extend Parsons’ contract. As expected, the Cowboys’ owner refused the player’s request and let him leave for another NFL franchise.
A new chapter for Parsons in the NFL
According to Bolavip, Micah Parsons signed a four-year, $188 million contract with the Packers, including $136 million guaranteed. After the news broke, Parsons needed only six words:
“Thank you Dallas… GO Pack Go!” he wrote on X.

It is clear that his relationship with Jones is beyond repair. That might explain his change in attitude during the Cowboys’ training camp. While he remains grateful to the team, he chose to pursue a different path.
Parsons also published a letter to his Cowboys fans: “From the moment I arrived in Dallas, you embraced me and my family as your own. You made an East Coast kid feel at home in Texas… You didn’t just give me a jersey, you gave me a place to belong.”
Parsons spent the early years of his NFL career with the Dallas Cowboys, but that chapter closed after the contract dispute. Jones refused to compromise, and the team moved on without him.
Now, Parsons feels thankful for where he started, but he is ready to give his best and shine with the Green Bay Packers, who will count on him as a key asset for the 2025-26 season.
