Kylie Kelce seems to be a firm parent when it comes to raising her children. She is determined when it comes to setting rules that the kids must follow. As the wife of Jason Kelce, Kylie spends most of her time at home with their little ones, making her an expert in their upbringing. Even her husband has to take note of the household rules—though not all of them apply to him.

Recently, the wife of former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce revealed some of their home rules on her podcast Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce. She shared with her audience that while some rules are non-negotiable, Jason sometimes gets a pass.

Kylie Kelce’s rules

The couple, happily married for about six years, shares three children—with a fourth on the way. Kylie Kelce and Jason have gained a lot of parenting experience and learned valuable lessons along the way.

But there’s one key rule their little ones—Wyatt, Ellie, and Bennett—cannot bend. According to Kylie Kelce, their household is nearly tech-free. The sister-in-law of Travis Kelce revealed that the use of tablets, phones, laptops, and other devices is limited to specific, controlled timeframes.

In fact, Kylie Kelce hinted that the kids don’t have their own devices yet. Occasionally, they borrow an adult’s phone to take pictures of their youngest sibling—something that melts Jason’s heart. Still, that’s not enough reason to let them have unrestricted access to technology.

Zero tech policy

“They can’t touch the phones,” Kylie Kelce stated firmly. “That’s been the rule from the beginning. Every now and then, they borrow someone’s phone and take pictures. Wyatt loves taking selfies right now. Dad’s thrilled about that,” she added with a smile.

Tablet use is also heavily regulated in their home. “I pretend I’ve set a timer and say, ‘One more.’ If the task I was working on isn’t finished, I tell them, ‘You’ve been so good, I’ll let you watch one more,’” she shared.

Kylie’s role

In this podcast episode, Kylie Kelce also took a moment to reflect on the role of women at home. She emphasized that, in her view, being a mom doesn’t mean every other aspect of a woman’s life must completely change.

“At any point in the day, you have to be concerned about the little humans you’re responsible for. But I think there’s a misconception that this erases the rest of your identity and makes you just a mom,” Kylie Kelce explained.

Her parenting approach aligns with many expert recommendations that suggest limiting technology use. It seems that both Kylie Kelce and Jason are on the right track, raising obedient and grounded kids.
