One mistake after another
The game against Atlanta started downhill. Tyler Allgeier opened the scoring with a 21-yard run, and Bijan Robinson sealed it with an 82-yard touchdown that left Buffalo’s defense stunned. Josh Allen answered with a touchdown pass to Dawson Knox, but the rest of the night was a rollercoaster of errors. Dee Alford picked off a pass intended for Khalil Shakir, and DeAngelo Malone closed the game with another interception in the final seconds.
Josh Allen’s frustration was clear. “We’re not going to win games turning the ball over three times in the red zone. That’s bad football,” he said after the game. His body language on the field showed tension, and social media didn’t hesitate to point fingers at him as the main culprit.

No break in sight
The Falcons’ defense, led by Jeff Ulbrich, was decisive. The coordinator, who had faced Josh Allen before while on the Jets’ staff, crafted a game plan that held the quarterback to just 181 passing yards and 42 rushing. Ulbrich had warned his team to treat the game like a final—and the result proved him right.
With a 4-2 record, the Bills head into their bye week. But the schedule doesn’t ease up: the Chiefs, Buccaneers, and Steelers await in the next five games. Josh Allen remains in the MVP race, with 14 touchdowns and 4 interceptions through six games. Still, if he wants to stay in contention, he’ll need to regain control… and rewrite the narrative.
