Josh Allen is no longer just the quarterback of the Buffalo Bills. He’s the lead character in a storyline that’s redefining what it means to dominate in the NFL. On a Thursday night that looked like just another win in Buffalo’s routine, Allen extended his streak and made history. With his performance against the Miami Dolphins, he became the fastest quarterback to reach 300 total touchdowns—surpassing the pace set by Patrick Mahomes.

According to data published by Marca, Josh Allen reached the milestone in his 127th game, combining 225 passing touchdowns with 67 rushing scores. That dual-threat ability makes him a complete weapon, capable of dismantling defenses with both his arm and his legs. Against Miami, he was surgical: 22 completions on 28 attempts, three touchdown passes, and zero mistakes. He found the end zone with Dalton Kincaid, Jackson Hawes, and Khalil Shakir—and did it with a calm that’s becoming second nature in Buffalo.

A guy who delivers with consistency

But beyond the numbers, Josh Allen is building a narrative of reliability. He’s riding a 13-game winning streak as a starter, remains undefeated on Thursday nights (8-0), and hasn’t lost at home against the Dolphins (8-0). So far in the 2025 season, the Bills are 3-0, and Allen has already racked up 755 yards, five touchdowns, and a completion rate close to 70%.

Since being drafted seventh overall in 2018, Josh Allen has earned three Pro Bowl selections, two All-Pro nods, and the 2023 MVP. But what separates him from the pack isn’t just talent—it’s evolution. While Patrick Mahomes continues to be the benchmark of the modern era, Allen is building a legitimate alternative, one rooted in pace, versatility, and leadership.

The comparison between Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes is no longer just media hype. It’s statistical, emotional, and narrative-driven. Mahomes has the rings, sure. But Allen is writing a story that could end up just as legendary. And he’s doing it at full speed.
