Jake Browning’s fiancée, the Bengals’ backup quarterback, showed great excitement on Sunday after the Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Jaguars 31-27.
Browning had to step into the game to replace Joe Burrow, who left injured in the second half. As he walked off the field at Paycor Stadium, he interacted with his fiancée in a moment that didn’t go unnoticed.
Jake Browning’s fiancée couldn’t hide her euphoria
According to the New York Post, Stephanie Niles, Jake Browning’s future wife, posted a video on Instagram showing Browning spotting her in the crowd and reaching out to hold her hand.

In the clip, Niles said: “That’s the first time he looked at me,” while her excitement was evident. Moments earlier, she had waved her arms so her fiancé could see her. Sitting in the front row, she achieved her goal: catching Browning’s attention.
Jake Browning stood out as a Bengals leader. He led a 15-play, 92-yard drive and scored the game-winning touchdown on a one-yard run with 18 seconds left. On Instagram, Browning also posted a photo with his fiancée, captioning it: “What a roller coaster.” In his story, he added: “No, seriously, I’m crying.”
In November 2024, the former Washington Huskies quarterback proposed to Niles in a romantic Malibu beach moment. For now, Browning will play as the Bengals’ starting quarterback while Burrow recovers from a serious toe injury, which reportedly requires surgery and could sideline him for about three months.
