The Cross Country Mortgage Campus in Berea, Ohio, hosted the first day of training camp for Dillon Gabriel as quarterback of the Cleveland Browns. But it wasn’t just the arm strength or offensive schemes that stole the spotlight—it was the presence of his fiancée, Zo Caswell, who joined Dillon Gabriel with laid-back energy and a clear-cut message: “Year 1 🏈.”

Dressed in a retro Browns tee and ripped denim shorts, Zo Caswell brought her own flair to the field, but more importantly, she offered emotional support to Dillon Gabriel. The two began dating in high school and got engaged in September 2024. Since then, Dillon Gabriel’s college journey—from UCF to Oklahoma and finally Oregon—has been one they’ve navigated hand-in-hand. His final chapter at Oregon showcased a confident closer who knew how to command a locker room.

Tempered expectations

According to SportsKeeda, Dillon Gabriel was selected as the 94th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Now he arrives in Cleveland with measured expectations—but it’s his backstory that resonates. Gabriel’s time at Oregon turned him into a resilient leader. One who’s learned to adapt to shifting offensive schemes and keep his cool under pressure. While he still needs to earn his spot in the Browns rotation, Gabriel’s presence at camp has already sparked conversation among fans and insiders.

The Browns’ training camp runs through August 4. And Dillon Gabriel has that stretch to prove he can translate his collegiate success to the NFL’s demanding pace. In that context, Caswell’s support isn’t just romantic. It’s part of the emotional scaffolding athletes rely on while making that leap. On social media, she’s shared intimate moments—from mirror selfies to beach snapshots—that reflect a life blending glamor with authenticity, mirroring Gabriel’s own down-to-earth vibe.

Support on and off the field

Support like this may seem anecdotal. But in a league defined by relentless pressure and high-stakes competition, a strong personal foundation can be a game-changer. Right now, Dillon Gabriel is building his professional identity, and that emotional balance—both on and off the gridiron—is key.
