Bill Belichick labeled as a “social media puppet” due to his relationship with Jordon Hudson

Ever since Bill Belichick’s relationship with Jordon Hudson became public, the backlash hasn’t stopped. The couple has a 48-year age gap, which has sparked a lot of opinions. Now, the coach has been called a “social media puppet” by the wife of a prominent sports commentator.

This time, it’s Ernestine Sclafani Bayless, wife of Skip Bayless, who has shared her concerns about Bill Belichick’s relationship with his much younger girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.

Bill Belichick under fire

According to Ernestine Sclafani Bayless, she’s not happy with how public the 72-year-old coach’s relationship is with Jordon Hudson. In her view, Bill Belichick is being treated as a puppet by his girlfriend, leading her to disapprove of their relationship.

Many, like Sclafani, disapprove of  Belichick’s relationship. However, the couple seems happy as they enjoy various activities together, despite the significant age difference.

Sclafani also believes that Bill Belichick’s relationship with Jordon Hudson is problematic. She claims that showcasing their bond on social media is inappropriate, suggesting that Jordon might be using the coach to gain attention.

A different Bill Belichick

Ernestine Sclafani Bayless pointed out that Bill Belichick has never been active on social media. However, since his relationship with Jordon Hudson began, his online presence has grown significantly, something she attributes to his new girlfriend.

“I’m on my phone, scrolling through Yahoo. There are at least seven stories about Bill Belichick and his girlfriend. In one, he’s lying down while she does yoga. Then there’s a Valentine’s dinner post where she says, ‘Here we are.’ And another where she defends their age gap,” Sclafani Bayless said.

In her eyes, Jordon Hudson’s constant need to stay relevant in the media is pushing Bill Belichick to do things he wouldn’t normally do, which she considers problematic.

“Why do you have to show this off? That’s my issue. I don’t care that they’re dating… but it’s so constant, so obvious, and Bill Belichick looks so uncomfortable in the photos. It’s embarrassing. He looks bad… almost like a puppet, and she’s the one pulling the strings.”

Ernestine Sclafani Bayless also expressed that she doesn’t understand the dynamics of Belichick’s relationship with Jordon Hudson. She worries that the coach is being forced to act differently than his true self. She even added that his lack of enthusiasm can be seen in his facial expressions.

Conflicting opinions

In contrast, Skip Bayless sees things differently. The analyst believes that Bill Belichick’s relationship with Jordon Hudson is a smart move. From his perspective, the new UNC coach has a lot to gain from this romance. Skip argues that being in college football means Belichick now interacts with a younger generation, who might find it appealing that he has a much younger girlfriend.

Since going public, the couple has been under constant scrutiny. But neither Bill Belichick nor Jordon Hudson seems to care about outside opinions. While their relationship may appear unconventional to some, they’ve managed to navigate the criticism and seem genuinely happy. Only time will tell if this is true love or something else entirely.
