Apparently, FOX Sports compared two rising NFL stars: Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward. This comparison seriously hurt Sanders, while it boosted Ward’s stock. But what caused this situation?

In reality, Sanders and Ward started as healthy competitors, but their rivalry escalated beyond limits. Now, the Colorado Buffaloes player faces exclusion from the 2025 NFL Draft.

The debate over the future of NCAA star players in the NFL Draft has reached its peak. In fact, the rivalry between these two top athletes remains intense, as both Shedeur and Cam showcase natural football talent.

Why did FOX categorize two NCAA stars?

Recently, FOX Sports classified both players based on their participation in the NFL Combine, which ignited a major controversy. Critics now accuse FOX of sabotaging Sanders, claiming this classification could cost him a spot in the Draft.

FOX worsened the situation by labeling quarterbacks as “throwing” and “non-throwing” players. This move drew even more attention, since both Sanders and Ward had already opted out of the Combine to prepare for their Pro Days.

DJ Blessone, from IsmokeHiphop Live YT, stated: “I want you to look here, as I have nothing but proof of how FOX Sports deliberately tried to sabotage Shedeur Sanders in the worst way.”

“You can see in this graphic how they show only the players under Combine evaluation, those who are throwing and those who are not. But when did this become the focus? When did this become the main topic about quarterbacks who are not throwing?”. This controversy exploded just as critics attacked Shedeur Sanders for skipping the Shrine Bowl, despite his name appearing on the list.

“But that was never necessary. Now, pay attention to this part here, as they literally tweeted this on X to spark a conversation and stir up controversy. This move triggered the struggles Shedeur faced last week,” he added.

Why are analysts accusing FOX?

FOX faces direct accusations because elite quarterbacks have skipped the Combine before. Joe Burrow, Andrew Luck, Matthew Stafford, Kyler Murray, Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Drake Maye all followed the same path.

Now, some analysts suspect FOX Sports intentionally tried to sabotage Shedeur Sanders’ NFL future.

Adding to the controversy, FOX Sports posted on X:
“Cam Ward will join Shedeur Sanders as the only quarterbacks not throwing at the 2025 Combine.”

This statement only fueled the fire. Now, the rivalry with Ward has intensified like never before.
