Deion Sanders made it clear and said NO to NFL teams where he doesn’t want Shedeur to land

The current head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, Deion Sanders, has things clear. When it comes to the professional future of his sons, he seems to have a lot to say. The former NFL player and Hall of Famer had an impeccable and unstoppable career. He wants Shedeur to have the same and has already spoken with some teams ahead of the draft.

This draft is one of the most anticipated events of 2025. The time is nearing for all franchises to start their moves and select the best prospects. Shedeur is undoubtedly one of the top candidates, expected to be among the first picks in the NFL Draft.

Currently, Shedeur plays under the direction of his father, Deion Sanders, with the Buffaloes, and his coach knows his abilities well. Additionally, he understands where Shedeur could excel and make a better impact. That’s why Deion stated last Friday on the Dan Patrick Show that he had spoken behind closed doors with several NFL franchises. He also addressed other rumors.

Deion Sanders was clear with them, advising them not to draft Shedeur. However, he emphasized that this was not a negative rejection, and he would never speak ill of any organization, as he understands how they operate.

“I wouldn’t call them out. I wouldn’t talk bad about their organization because people work too hard to get it right, instead of someone like me ignorantly saying something wrong. I would meet with them privately and talk about my concerns so we can have an understanding.” said Deion Sanders.
