Warriors fans have a player in their sights
Upset by the loss and disappointed with the team’s performance, many Warriors fans blamed Draymond Green. Although he’s considered one of the best basketball players in the NBA, Dub Nation is not satisfied with his role.

Warriors fans showed no mercy. In the comments, one reads, “Draymond literally only contribution in the last 5 minutes was scream at the refs 💀.” Another user wrote, “Thanks Draymond for losing the game for forcing Kerr to waste a challenge.”
The majority of Warriors fans’ impressions were in the same vein. Draymond Green is currently not the favorite player of Dub Nation. Many comments claimed, “The warriors just lost this game because of Draymond Green.”
Draymond Green under the spotlight
Warriors’ forward has recently been under the storm. Both his performance on the court and issues like injuries and altercations with other players have contributed to this. This has made his popularity decline among fans.

Many question whether he remains a valuable asset to the team. Comments like: “Wtf is wrong with Draymond?? First miss those 3 easy layups and then foul grimes on that three point shot and cost us the timeout and the challenge🤦♂️”, don’t paint the player in a good light.
Warriors fans’ rejection
However, this goes beyond yesterday’s performance; Warriors fans’ discontent with Draymond Green stems from earlier. For the 23-24 season, Green signed a lucrative contract extension. Nonetheless, in November 23, he was expelled from a game and suspended for 5 matches.
In December of the same year, Green had another altercation by attacking another player. He was expelled again, and the NBA took major actions, suspending him indefinitely. He returned to the court in January 2024, but Warriors fans were not happy.
This year, the player hadn’t had much action due to a calf injury suffered in early January. However, the forward was cleared to resume training and participate in games. Yet, his performance hasn’t been applauded by Warriors fans.
Now Green, facing a displeased and discontented fanbase, must redeem himself if he wants the fans’ approval. His next game with the Warriors is tomorrow against the Hornets, a match that will have everyone watching.
