The Golden State Warriors remain the only NBA team without major offseason moves. This could be the final stretch of Curry’s career, so he sent a clear message regarding his team.
The Warriors are determined to compete at a high level to win in the 2025-26 season. During training camp, the Bay Area icon addressed what is happening inside the franchise.
Concern and confidence in Curry
According to Bolavip, the four-time NBA champion addressed the press about the Warriors. Curry left no doubt that he trusts his team, especially the core group formed in the 2024-25 season and maintained into this offseason.
Even though he acknowledged the lack of roster changes, Curry expressed confidence: “It’s different, for sure, but my confidence comes from the identity we built during the last third of the regular season and our playoff run. We have a really good team.”

Curry also underlined the importance of adding new players to raise the team’s performance, stating: “We need some pieces to help us reach the next level.”
He then addressed Jonathan Kuminga’s uncertain situation, saying: “The veteran presence we have—myself, Jimmy [Butler], Draymond [Green]—we know how to prepare through that uncertainty and head into training camp expecting some moves. But you control what you can control.”
So far, the only confirmed departure is Kevon Looney, who signed with the New Orleans Pelicans as a free agent. Meanwhile, rumors link Al Horford and De’Anthony Melton to Golden State, but no deals have been finalized yet.
