Nico Harrison will always be remembered for his decision to trade Luka Doncic to the Lakers. Even though some time has passed since that move, many Dallas Mavericks fans still can’t let it go.

Recently, a Mavericks supporter approached Harrison in a strange way. This didn’t go unnoticed by fans of the franchise, who considered it disrespectful. Even if they don’t agree with the Mavs’ GM, there are boundaries that must be respected.

An unnecessary provocation in the wrong setting

According to Firstsportz, a troll confronted Nico Harrison, provoked him, and recorded the exchange. Harrison responded, but the video doesn’t clearly capture what he said. Later, the man told him: “Do better… Nico, what’s up, man? We all still… I hate you.”

The clip, posted on social media platform X, triggered strong reactions from Mavericks fans. Most of them condemned the incident because Harrison was having dinner with his family at Twin Peaks restaurant.

Comments on X pointed out that trolls should keep criticism and comments on the court. Invading the GM’s privacy was a clear lack of respect, especially over a decision made months ago. Whether Harrison made the right call or not remains to be seen, but the consequences seem to follow him everywhere.

In fact, Harrison’s relatives at the restaurant were shocked by the man’s behavior. Now it seems the GM may have to hire private security again, since incidents like this could repeat and escalate into something completely unnecessary.
