Lavar Ball’s prediction about Bronny and LeBron
With the All-Star Game just a few weeks away, the starters have already been announced and to the surprise of few, they are led by LeBron James, who will be making his 21st appearance, extending his NBA record. Now the next challenge, or rather dream, for LeBron would undoubtedly be to play an All-Star Game with his son Bronny, something that looks extremely complicated.
Speaking of LeBron and Bronny, a video from a few years ago resurfaced on social media in which Lavar Ball seems to have seen the future as he commented in an interview that there have been many very good players in the NBA but that all those who have tried to have their sons follow in their footsteps in the NBA most of the sons have been extremely inferior or as Ball says “All their sons are wack“. He also mentioned that LeBron’s sons will have a very difficult time because of the constant comparisons because no matter what they do on the court, they will always be LeBron’s leftovers and right now that is happening with Bronny, watch the video and confirm what Lavar says.
Bronny’s debut was rushed, driven by the massive hype of playing alongside his father. While he’s shown flashes of potential in the G League, his opportunities with the Lakers’ first team have been limited. The pressure to perform as LeBron’s son has magnified every misstep, and his career remains stalled for now. Meanwhile, LaVar Ball’s bold predictions about his own sons have been a mixed bag. Lonzo Ball, drafted second overall by the Lakers in 2017, showed early promise but has struggled with injuries and played just 38 games since joining the Chicago Bulls in 2021. The youngest, LaMelo Ball, has fared far better. An All-Star this season and fourth in the league in points per game (29), LaMelo’s jersey is the 12th best-selling in the NBA. But he also has to contend with recurring injuries.
