The Golden State Warriors found relief after a frustrating losing streak with a dominant 114-83 victory over the Indiana Pacers. Even without Stephen Curry, the team secured a crucial win that restored confidence and energy ahead of a tough stretch of games. Jimmy Butler, the star of the night with 21 points and 66.7% shooting, spoke about Curry’s impact and the importance of resilience.

Butler emphasized the need to compete without depending entirely on Curry. “We play against some really good teams on the road. But you have to win some of these to prove you can compete with the best. Obviously, if we get 30, our chances of winning increase drastically. But even if he’s not ready to play, we still have to go out and compete because it’s very possible we can win,” said the veteran forward.

Curry’s absence remains a challenge

According to Essentiallysports, the win marked the beginning of a three-game winning streak without Curry. Draymond Green, despite recording only three assists, anchored the defense, while rookie Will Richard shined off the bench with 15 points in 19 minutes.

The Warriors now face six games in nine days, including tough matchups against OKC and the Spurs. Curry remains sidelined with illness, but the team’s spirit has clearly shifted. Butler highlighted that the key to the turnaround was collective energy and trust in younger players.

The Thunder, who lead the league with ten wins, and the Spurs, with De’Aaron Fox back, will be serious tests for Golden State. Still, after the emotional win over Indiana, the locker room feels united again.

This victory not only snapped a losing streak, it also revived hope in a roster hit by injuries. If Curry returns to full strength soon, the Warriors could reemerge as serious contenders. For now, Butler and company proved that the Bay still burns with fire.
