In 2016, the relationship between Draymond Green and LeBron James reached peak hostility. That tension seems long gone, and today they are friends. Still, comments occasionally surface that cast shadows between them. This time, Green shared his honest opinion about James’s hobby—and it wasn’t very flattering for the King.

While answering questions from the media, the Golden State Warriors legend stunned fans with one particular response. He believes James should reconsider his pastime.

Podcast rivals on the court and beyond?

According to The Sports Rush, during an interview with 95.7 The Game, Green was asked to name an NBA player with a podcast who shouldn’t have one. Without hesitation, he mentioned LeBron James in a joking tone.
“How many other chances do I get to throw shade at him?” Green said, before using the opportunity to promote his own podcast. He hosts The Draymond Green Show With Baron Davis, where he discusses various topics and has even dropped surprising opinions.

Meanwhile, LeBron James has become one of the NBA’s most popular podcast voices. He often chats with NBA legend Steve Nash about subjects that fascinate basketball fans. The podcast has become an accessible platform for his followers.

It’s clear that Green’s and James’s podcasts are personal and very different. Although Green’s joke targeted the King, their rivalry no longer exists on or off the court. In fact, they are such good friends that they’ve even enjoyed Super Bowls together from the VIP suite.
