The confrontation started with remarks involving Angel Reese, which then turned into gender-based mockery.
Green, known for his fiery personality, responded after the game: “At first it was a good joke, but you can’t keep calling me a woman. I have four kids and one on the way. But he went quiet, so it was fine.” The situation didn’t escalate thanks to the referee and young teammate Brandin Podziemski, who stepped in to calm things down.
An insult Green refused to tolerate
According to The Sports Rush, the worst moment happened outside the arena. On Threads, a user wrote: “The day Dray tears his Achilles will be a beautiful day.” The comment crossed every line of respect and basic humanity. Green, who has seen teammates like Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson suffer that injury, didn’t hold back: “Your parents hate you. What a life.” A short sentence, but dripping with contempt.

These attacks aren’t new for the former DPOY. Another fan mocked his career stats, suggesting he doesn’t deserve a Hall of Fame spot. Green, true to form, replied: “Debate it with your mom and see what answer she gives you.” He never holds back, especially when defending his legacy.
Draymond Green is not someone who goes unnoticed. His playing style, confrontational attitude, and suspension history have made him an easy target. But wishing him a career-ending injury is an unjustifiable act of hate. Rivalry and passion should never cross the boundary of basic human respect.
Green remains a divisive figure in the NBA. But even his harshest critics should agree that there are limits that should never be crossed. Basketball is a game, not a place to wish physical harm on others.
