Charles Barkley shared his thoughts on Blake Griffin during a live TV broadcast. He made a joking comment about the former Los Angeles Clippers star constantly appearing on screen.

Right now, the ‘Guarantee Guys’ commercial with AT&T frequently airs during March Madness games. It seems to have played multiple times throughout the NCAA tournament, and that bothers Barkley a little.

As a panelist on Inside the NBA, he reacted just seconds after CBS host Ernie Johnson aired the commercial. “Oh, God… Man, I’m so sick of Blake,” Barkley said.

Johnson knew Barkley was joking, so he responded, “Be nice to Blake. Take it away, Blake.” This exchange happened right during the commercial break of Duke’s Sweet 16 game against Arizona.

Almost instantly, social media exploded with reactions. One fan wrote, “Thank you, Charles,” while another called it “the best moment of the tournament.”

Other notable reactions included: “I’m with Charles,” “Even Barkley knows how annoying these AT&T promo hits are,” and “It’s not just Blake this year, it’s been years of whatever they roll out for their halftime shows.”

Barkley’s future

According to unofficial reports, Charles Barkley is considering leaving TNT to join Amazon Prime. This comes despite his repeated claims that he intends to stay with his current network.

In fact, back in February, Barkley stated, “I’m telling NBC that I won’t accept their offer… I’m canceling future meetings with Amazon. … My heart always has been and always will be with Turner Sports.”

With these rumors circulating, fans will have to wait and see what decision Barkley makes about his TV career. For now, he will keep doing what he loves with the TNT team.
